Katelyn Joy Derstine Scholarship Fund, Inc., will be releasing butterflies in honor of children who have died way too soon and honoring or remembering loved ones affected by breast cancer.

June 15, 2010 our hearts will be remembering Katelyn Joy on the 4th anniversary of her tragic death, as we release butterflies on Siesta Key Beach.
An ice cream social will follow at Casa de Mariposa.
Donations can be made to either KJD fund or ACS to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer", attention Team: Bam's Brigade, "Flying High on the Wings of HOPE"

Katelyn's butterfly & Breast Cancer Ribbon Image created & designed, at the request of Bambi, by the very talented & creative close family friend, Joanna Misiti, VP of "Fly Away Creative Studios", in honor of Katelyn's signature butterfly drawing and Bambi "Flying High on the Wings of Hope" with her journey through breast cancer.
