Press Release:
LOCAL CHARITIES BENEFIT FROM CAUSE MARKETING SARASOTA, FL (February 1, 2009) – Andy Diaczyk, owner of Sarasota Vineyard, realizes that nonprofits now more than ever are struggling for contributions. In the same aspect, local companies are also under the same pressure in acquiring business. To help create a win-win situation, Diaczyk launched a charity outreach program starting in January 2009. Sarasota Vineyard on Main Street will select one charity a month and give 10% of the proceeds from a month’s patronage. Diacyzk said, “I am thrilled to be able to collaborate and help local charities and businesses, and the community as a whole. Even though this may be a small contribution on my part, I hope that others will take an initiative to do their part in helping with the local economy and causes.” The first charity that will benefit from the program starting in February is the Katelyn Joy Derstine Scholarship Fund. The charity honors the memory of an extraordinary young woman and provides college scholarships to Sarasota County High School female seniors. “We can’t thank Sarasota Vineyard enough for selecting our charity for this program. Every dollar raised helps us closer to our mission. This shows good corporate social responsibility in action,” states Bambi Famous Kaine, president of the Katelyn Joy Derstine Scholarship Fund. |
