Future Plans

I value my education with the highest regard, and I want to pursue many things beyond my post-secondary education. I plan to earn a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary engineering and a master’s in biomedical engineering from The University of Florida. A career in biomedical engineering is ideal for me because not only do I enjoy math and science, but I ultimately want to have a career that includes creating new technology that will help doctors successfully treat their patients. I never want to stop learning, and this will propel me to take every measure possible to succeed.
I am going to continue volunteering with children, join various organizations, and stay active with the American Cancer Society throughout my college years. After earning my graduate degree, I plan to return to Sarasota to start my career because I know that Sarasota has excellent medical care and I want to come back to the community that helped me become who I am. My other long-term goals include traveling the world, starting a family, and owning a medical engineering firm.
